We have a long history of producing significant results for our oil and gas investors and partners. Since 1985 our entities have acted as direct intermediary and/or principal in aggregate oil and gas reserve activity in excess of $1 billion.
Activities consisted of about 160 distinct closed transactions. Some of our more notable transactions include:
- Facilitated and participated in the acquisition from ARCO Oil & Gas of certain operated properties located in the Oak Hill Field and related pipeline facilities in Rusk County, Texas. ($127,500,000)
- Facilitated and participated in the acquisition from Union Pacific Resources of its interests in the Point Arguello Field, located in the Santa Barbara Channel offshore California, East Carlsbad Field in New Mexico, and Landa Unit in North Dakota. ($22,750,000)
- Facilitated and participated in the acquisition of Castle Energy Corporation by Delta Petroleum Corporation. ($67,500,000)
- Acquired from Aviva America, Inc. its U.S. onshore producing properties located in the Rocky Mountain Region, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. ($3,000,000)
- Acquired certain onshore properties located in Oklahoma and Wyoming that were divested in conjunction with the merger between LaTex Resources, Inc. and Germany Oil Company. ($2,900,000)
- Acquired over 500 producing royalty/mineral interests from Apache Corporation located in eight states. ($8,000,000)
- Facilitated and participated in the acquisition of over 1,000 producing mineral and royalty properties plus 119,000 undeveloped net mineral acres located in 20 states and the Gulf of Mexico from Blazer Energy Corp., formerly the upstream holdings of Ashland Oil Co. ($32,000,000)
- Participated in the expansion of the Comet Pipeline system and the formation of the Mercury Pipeline system located in Uintah County, Utah. Sold to Whiting Petroleum. ($36,000,000)
- Facilitated and participated in the formation of Chicago Energy Associates, as well as the development of the Flat Rock Field, Uintah County, Utah. Sold to Whiting Petroleum. ($330,000,000)
